Cabinet Door and Drawer Repair
A sagging cabinet door or sticking drawer can have a hardware, fixing or box problem. Identify the cause before replacing parts.
Direct answer
Send a wide view of the cabinet, the affected door or drawer, close-ups of both fixing points or runners, and any product label. Show where the part rubs, separates or stops. Add the affected quantity and a short symptom description. Photos help plan an assessment; they do not prove hidden support, exact compatibility or the final repair scope.

| Item | What to know |
|---|---|
| Wide view | Show the affected unit and its neighbours. |
| Close-up | Keep hardware, fixing and surrounding material in focus. |
| Privacy | Keep people, personal papers and unrelated details out of the frame. |
Stand back enough to show the affected cabinet and surrounding countertop, appliances or wall. Take a second view with the door or drawer open only if it remains supported. This shows access and location; a very close photograph of a broken screw does not identify the cabinet it belongs to.
For a hinge, photograph the door cup, hinge arm, cabinet plate and material around them. For a drawer, show both runner sides, front alignment and accessible underside connections. Keep loose pieces for assessment, but do not detach a heavy door or remove a supported drawer just to get an angle.
Photograph readable logos, article numbers and the hole pattern inside a branded cabinet. A ruler beside a visible defect helps describe its size; preliminary measurements need confirmation. If no label exists, select unknown on the request rather than guessing a system from its colour or handle style.
State when the fault began, whether it happens loaded or empty, the number affected and any earlier repair or water incident. Use the site request form for the photos and contact details. A picture cannot test a damper, establish a concealed fixing or confirm the full extent of damaged material.
Renovation1 accepts requests for one door or one drawer. Send the clearest available views; stop using an unstable component and describe any angle you cannot safely photograph.
