What Information Helps Us Prepare a Renovation Estimate?

Use the estimate form to share your name, phone, needed service, project address or neighbourhood, and timeline. Add room-wide photos, close-ups, available measurements, and notes about the result you want. Product links, finish preferences, and access details help when relevant. Concealed conditions or uncertain dimensions may still require a site visit.

Required by the general request formName, phone, service needed, project address or neighbourhood, and timeline.
Helpful supporting informationPhotos, measurements, product links, finish preferences, access notes, and budget context when available.
Still subject to assessmentHidden damage, structural conditions, product fit, and work that cannot be confirmed from the supplied information.

Show the whole space and the detail

Use a room-wide photo to show where the work sits and close-ups to show the actual problem. For doors or windows, show the opening and contact points. For damaged finishes, include the wider surface as well as the affected area. The form accepts optional photos.

Include measurements and product links when available

Basic dimensions, quantities, or a selected product link can clarify the request. Label any approximate measurements as approximate. You do not need to invent specifications or finalise every product before contacting us.

Explain the location, access, and finish

The form asks for a project address or neighbourhood. Add useful access details such as stairs, condo arrangements, parking, or occupied rooms in your notes. Describe the finish you want and what should remain. These are useful details, not new mandatory form fields.

Describe existing conditions and timing

Mention visible damage, known leaks or earlier repairs, any hard deadline, and the work you want included. The timeline field describes your preference; it is not a promise of availability or completion.

What may still need a visit

A site visit may be needed to confirm hidden conditions, exact fit, support, access, or the relationship between trades. Sending more photographs does not guarantee a final price without assessment. Keep the proposed work and unresolved questions separate.

What Renovation1 does in practice

Use the existing Renovation1 estimate form. Photos and additional notes help the review, but only the fields labelled required must be completed to submit a general request.

Drywall Repair After Water Damage

A stain is only the visible part of a water-damaged wall. Repair starts after the moisture source and affected materials are assessed.

Drywall Repair and Painting

A drywall patch succeeds when the surface is supported and the finish blends with the room, not simply when the hole is covered.

Baseboard and Trim Installation

Trim finishes the meeting between surfaces, but the cleanest result starts with floor height, wall shape and corner conditions.

Planning a Basement Finish

A basement finish is planned around moisture, intended use, services and required approvals before walls and flooring conceal them.

Planning a Bathroom Renovation

A bathroom renovation starts with the existing wet areas, ventilation, layout and the interfaces between waterproofing and finishes.
